While former reality TV dad Jon Gosselin seeks custody of his eight
kids based on ex-wife Kate’s “absentee mom” status, one insider
insists Jon’s lengthy visits to former girlfriend Morgan Christie left
the “Plus 8” parentless far more than Kate’s career has.

“(Jon) didn’t see the kids for weeks and the only reason was that he
wanted to hang out with his girlfriend,” the insider told Radar
Online. “He’s claiming that Kate is an absentee mother when the truth
is she’s a working mother.”

A "working mother" is a MOTHER who has a JOB. Kate Gosselin has NO JOB
apart from being a mom. That is not to take away from full-time moms but as
far as I can tell she spends the rest of her time getting her hair done and
making public appearances.

I don't see the father on every talk show and in all the magazines with her
latest ugly and overpriced "trendy" haircut.

Again, there is nothing wrong with staying home to take care of your kids,
but "working mom" means you care for children AND go to an office or some
other workplace every day.

Even factoring in Kate’s time-consuming “Dancing With the Stars”
duties, the insider believes it’s Jon who comes up short — a point
that could soon be confirmed in court.

“When they compare who has spent more time with the children, Jon is
going to be embarrassed,” the insider said. “He’s doing this because
he blew through all his money and has no place to live.”

Even factoring in Kate’s time-consuming “Dancing With the Stars”

he blew through all his money and has no place to live.”

He only wants this to get out from under his financial obligation to the
kids. He wants to sit on his keester at home while Kate scrambles for high
paying jobs.

WHAT "high-paying" jobs?? She was a NURSE. A respectable and
under-appreciated profession, and sometimes a high-paying one, but don't
expect to make six figures as a head nurse when you took a LONG time off to
do a reality show! Then when your show is cancelled you spend all of your
time showing off your latest stupid haircut that you think is cute and
trendy.

If you're trivial enough to go on "dancing with the stars" don't expect to
be taken seriously in the field of nursing. what job she can get that is
"high paying" other than annoying media fluff is beyond me.

They are begging for the public to make judgments. One of the parents seems
serious enough about parenting to not be a media whore. You court judgment,
expect to be judged unfairly.

With 8 kids, they BOTH need to be working at whatever jobs they

can find. If he gets a 9-5 job as an IT person, then so be it and base his
child support on that. If Kate can't make ends meet, she needs to scale
back (yeah, right) or fill the gap her own way.....which is what she is
doing it seems. Jon is such a baby and Kate seems mean.

What the hell is he even doing right now, work wise? Anything? How can
he expect to support all those kids if he has no income?
